Hong Kong Pools

If you’re looking to cool off with a quick swim or just relax by the water, Hong Kong has plenty of great pools. The city’s public swimming pools are run by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, with 22 of them across the city and New Territories. These pools are reasonably priced and have great facilities, including lap lanes and water slides. Entrance to the pools is HK$17 per person on weekdays and HK$19 on weekends. People with disabilities, children aged 3 to 13, and full-time students can get in at a reduced rate.

The biggest public pool in Hong Kong is located in Victoria Park, and hosts a main swimming pool and spectator stands that can hold up to 2,500 people. It’s the perfect place to get a workout in and enjoy the lush scenery of the park. If you’re feeling more adventurous, check out the two waterslides at this pool, which can reach up to 9 meters high!

Another popular pool is the Kowloon Park swimming pool, which boasts a main pool, diving pool, and training pool. It also features a large number of rocks, waterfalls, and footbridges to make it more exciting for swimmers of all ages. The pool is well-maintained and has good amenities, but it can be quite crowded during the peak season.

YMCA Bridges Street Centre is one of the oldest indoor pools in Hong Kong, and it’s a great option if you’re on a budget! This pool is smaller than some of the others on this list, but it’s very affordable and has a relaxing environment. It’s also conveniently located between Happy Valley, Causeway Bay, and Wan Chai.

If you’re a fan of the beach, but don’t have much time to go to one, this pool is perfect for you! This pool is surrounded by beautiful beaches and is equipped with lifeguards. It’s a great place to spend the day, and even has an on-site restaurant.

There are also a few pools located in luxury hotels, and one of the best is the WET pool at W Hotel Hong Kong. This pool is located on the 76th floor of the hotel, so you’ll have some amazing views while you work out. You can access this pool as a non-hotel guest with a pass, but be sure to try out the FIT gym while you’re there!
